I always consider that it isn’t a very easy task to choose a stylish evening bag. Women’s clutchs for special event or party is far more difficult to pick out than handbags since there are numerous things we should take into consideration. Whether your clutch perfectly fit your dress? You see, there are color, size, shape and material to consider.
All my hesitation abandoned when I laid eyes on the Monogram Eva Clutch. The design is inspired by one of my favorite models Eva Herzigova. I’m not sure if “inspired by” means she took part in it’s conception, or if by looking at her perfect face someone was inspired to make it…either way this dainty bag is getting my vote for must-have Louis Vuitton. It is made of classic monogram canvas which can never go out of fashion. The clever removable straps allow you to carry it three different ways, using the short chain on your shoulder, using the long strap on your shoulder (which leaves the chain hanging as a decoration), or using the chain around your wrist as a pouchette. Besides, it features golden brass hardware and textile lining. I would like to find out if anyone owns Monogram Eva and whether you carry it mostly with the sling strap or just the gold chain. Casual or formal use?
The Eva Clutch measures 8.8″ x 5.1″ x 1.8″, very chic and light. It is sold for $530, not bad as far as Louis Vuitton go. I really love it, what about you?

I have owned the Eva for at least a year; I bought it shortly after it was released and I carry it constantly. For everyday use, I use the long leather strap across the body. For a dressier look, I remove the leather strap and carry the bag by the chain. It’s great for travel too, because you only need one handbag.
Despite it’s compact size, it holds a surprising amount of necessities if you employ some clever organizing. I’ve also dropped it (minus the leather strap) inside my Beverly MM in lieu of a wallet when in a rush!
It’s a brilliant design; I think the Eva may be the perfect handbag. I love it!
